As we are two-thirds the way into the 2022 Men's D1-2 season, the CVW crew thought we should do a conference run-down "around the horn" style. With that we tried to break down the conferences' top teams and what COULD shake down come conference tournament time.
Episode 141: College Volleyball Weekly, Beach Top 20, 3/16/22
After 3 weeks of the young Collegiate Beach season Charlie, Mads and Rob take a peak at some of the top performing teams of the top 20, the top performing pairs at each of the 5 flights and upcoming tournaments/duals in week 4. As an added bonus, the crew takes fan questions to help you discover each of the athletes' experiences, the life as a student-athlete and some other miscellaneous questions!

After 2 weekends of NCAA Collegiate Beach action 5 teams remain undefeated and a new #1 has been crowned each week so far. Charlie and Rob delve into the action in week 2 chatting about top performing teams and stellar team/pair/individual performances across the nation. Are FIU and Peppedine ready to jump into the mix? Can LSU keep pushing for the top? Is TCU going to "hop" all over their opponents in the Islands? And of course, is UCLA going to hold on to that top spot?

Episode 136: College Volleyball Weekly, Men's Top-15, 2/28/22
Week 8 brought us seven, 5-set decisions with five of those happening on Saturday night 2/26. Grand Canyon of the MPSF won their first ever match at Smith Fieldhouse, then did it again 2 nights later. #5 USC and #7 Pepperdine had great battles, and there is no doubt they will see each other in the Conference Tournament in a heated battle. The MIVA is well, getting complicated. Multiple teams are vying for the top spot while Penn St. was pressed by NJIT. The guys end the episode taking on a couple of fan questions that don't involved the firing of Dan of Lewis. Yes, he had a tough week last week...

Mads Fitzpatrick of Florida St. is BACK!
The Cal Poly Mustangs of the Big West Conference have established themselves as one of the top programs in the nation. The Mustangs have been to the NCAA Championships at Gulf Shores in back-to-back years (2019, 2021-- 2020 season cancelled). Sparking the fire in this program is none other than "The Professor," Todd Rogers, who is a 2-time Big West Coach of the Year.
Along with Todd, is All-Conference returnee, Tia Miric who has been an incredible talent and leader for Cal Poly. They both discuss the 2019 season, COVID, coming back in 2021 and what to expect in 2022.
